WIN Expands Network Into Hudson, WI
Eau Claire, WI - December 20, 2004 - Wisconsin Independent Network™, LLC, (WIN™) announced today the addition of a new Point of Presence (POP) in Hudson, Wisconsin. WIN Adds Additional Network POP Sites
Eau Claire, WI - October 19, 2003 - Wisconsin Independent Network™, LLC, (WIN™) announced today the activation of two additional POPs in Wisconsin.

WIN extended its OC-48 SONET network into Green Bay, WI and Appleton, WI. This development is part of a planned approach to gradually grow the WIN network.... Click here for more information.

WIN Charter Member of INDATELgroup
Eau Claire, WI - October 8, 2003 - Wisconsin Independent Network™, LLC, (WIN™) announced today its participation as a charter member in a new trade association called Independent Allicance Telecom Group (INDATELgroup). INDATELgroup is a non-profit telecommunications trade association whose members are Independent Telco-owned statewide network alliances that provide broadband access into underserved rural ara - metropolitan area - via fiber optic SONET networks.

WIN Adds Additional Network POP Sites
Eau Claire, WI - January 25, 2002 - Wisconsin Independent Network™, LLC, (WIN™) announced today the addition of a new SONET ring to its network in Wisconsin.

"I am extremely pleased with the addition of this new OC-48 SONET ring to the WIN network," said Scott Hoffmann, Executive Director of WIN. "We pride ourselves on bringing high speed data services over survivable SONET rings to rural areas where no other carriers have made such infrastructure investment. This new network is a prime example of this."

The new ring has points of presence (POP) sites at Baldwin, Amery, Milltown, Clear Lake, and Wilson, Wisconsin, and encompasses 183 route miles. Click here for more information.

WIN Converts Network to SONET Ring
Eau Claire, WI - December 27, 2001 - Wisconsin Independent Network™, LLC, (WIN™) announced the completion of a SONET network through western Wisconsin and southeastern Minnesota today.

Wisconsin Independent Network Selects Metro Optical Solution from Nortel Networks
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - August 17, 2000 - Wisconsin Independent Network* (WIN*), a fiber-based carrier and bandwidth provider in Wisconsin and Minnesota, has selected metropolitan-area fiber optic equipment from Nortel Networks* [NYSE/TSE: NT] to expand its network in southeastern Minnesota and western and central Wisconsin.

WIN, a carrier's carrier, will deploy the Nortel Networks OPTera* Metro Multiservice Platform in a new SONET ring. OPTera Metro is a fiber optic transport system.

WIN Awards SONET Equipment bid to Nortel
Eau Claire, WI - July 10, 2000 - Wisconsin Independent Network™, LLC, (WIN™) a fiber based carrier and bandwidth provider in Wisconsin and Minnesota, announced today the awarding of a bid for SONET Multiplexing equipment to Nortel.

July 13, 2000 - Wisconsin Independent Network will be hosting the second annual Vendor Fair on August 2 and 3, 2000, at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The conference will focus on Voice Over IP Technology, with presentations by 6 vendors.
